Amanda Palmer in a bath tub with a copy of my zine from high school that I sent her. Um, fuck yessss. It’s the random paper with badly drawn caution tape saying “pretty on the inside”

Ah, this old gem of a photo. I believe this was once in  one of Amanda’s photosets on MySpace and part of a blog. I think this fits nicely with Amanda’s latest tumblr question about how she reads fanmail.Annnnnnddddd because my brain is filled to capacity of random things like this, and hardly anything else, I just found the original post from SIX YEARS AGO of the photo from Amanda’s blog dated 2/17/07. BAM!http://www.myspace.com/afp/photos/4066473

My art project for school, entitled “Cover up and say good night” (after This Must be the Place by Talking Heads). Inspired by The Bed Song by Amanda Palmer, and The Bed Song photos Kyle Cassidy took of naked people in beds. Also this blog Amanda Palmer wrote about posing naked that makes me want to get naked. I think the photos are supposed to tell a story, or at least there’s a dramaturgy there…

This is the first time I have ever taken naked pictures of myself in order to show them to others. It feels scary in a good way. So of course I’m putting them here on my blog for everyone to see.

This is gorgeous - photography inspired by Kyle Cassidy and Neil Gaiman’s photo series based on Amanda Palmer’s The Bed Song.

beautiful.
